Notable Neighborhood Mural Art Near Coda at Bryant Street
You’ve probably walked right by some of the neighborhood’s coolest works of art without even noticing them. Northeast D.C. is rife with street art, especially colorful murals—maybe you’ve noticed the one on Edgewood Street, along the Metropolitan Branch Trail, called Toxic Soup. The colorful mural juxtaposes the damage of pollution against the beauty of Mother Nature in her purest, untainted state, as interpreted by an artist from Connecticut.
If you haven’t spotted this masterpiece, maybe you’ve stumbled upon one from No Kings Collective. This artistic team of Brandon Hill and Peter Chang collaborates with local creators to fill the neighborhood with color and beauty. Keep an eye on their Instagram account for new murals popping up around the area and head out to find them when you see something that catches your eye!
