Menomale Brings Authentic Neopolitan Pizzas to DC

May 27

A new addition to NoMa, Menomale is anything but a newcomer as far as the DC food scene is concerned. Its original location is long-since beloved, with one Yelp reviewer citing its “residential charm” as part of its appeal, not to mention the delicious pizza. But, for locals longing for a tasty pizza pie a bit closer to home, the news that Menomale would be opening this second location was welcome.

As one excited customer writes, “After visiting Menomale in Brookland, I put the date for the grand opening of the NoMa location on my calendar–really. I was that excited for a location to open closer to where I live. This is truly some of the best pizza I’ve ever had.”

That remarkable pizza is, of course, a significant selling point of Menomale. Another customer writes, “Such delicious pizza — the dough, the sauce, those pizza scissors. It’s all incredible.” You’ll even find vegan and gluten-free options available, so those folks who can’t always count on a pizza offering made for them can leave happy, too.
