Love, Romance, and Ice Skating for Coda Residents
It’s the most romantic day of the year, Coda at Bryant St. residents! But, seriously, no pressure.
Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be the end-all-be-all of romance. It can be simply a great day to enjoy with those around you. Even spending quality time and having fun with a loved one in our community room will have you feeling the love.
This year, make sure to have a great Galentine’s Day. That’s right, an entire day dedicated to appreciating and loving your friends. The love of friends is just as important as the love of a romantic partner.
A fun, simple, and easy activity for both Valentine’s and Galentine’s Day is ice skating! The best part, there are plenty of places to lace up and go ice skating in the D.C. area.
The National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden Ice Rink– Take a spin on the ice surrounded by the grand architecture of national museums and monuments.
Washington Harbour Ice Rink– A dancing fountain transformed into an ice rink during the cold months. After dark, when it’s most magical, dozens of twinkling snowflakes light up the rink.
The Wharf Ice Rink– D.C.’s only over-water ice skating rink! This ice rink closes in February so make sure you make time to head out there this month.
These are only a couple of the incredible places to have fun ice skating with your pals or a special someone this February!
